Chickens and Guinea hens occupied the poultry area. This hen appears to be the Barred Rock breed. She would lay brown eggs that are the same as white except for the outside color, but sell for a lower price. And they say that chickens are dumb. The chickens and kids were equally curious, peering at each other through the net fencing. |
