DESCRIPTION

Wild petunia is an erect perennial growing to about 3 feet tall. The leaves are opposite, lance shaped and about 2 inches long. The fairly large flowers are pale blue. Another name for Wild Petunia is Smooth Ruellia. The plant is very common along roadsides and open waste areas in May.
