CLICK PICTURES FOR LARGER VIEW DESCRIPTION This milkweed species is larger and coarser than the 4-leaved type that blooms in May. The locally seen species will bleed copious amounts of thick white juice when cut or bruised. (see image 4) The rose-brown flowers develop in clusters on umbels that are slightly drooping.
