DESCRIPTION

Wild Ginger is a low growing plant with heart or wide arrow shaped leaves. The flower is just at or below ground level. The flower is in the form of a cluster of brown "jugs". The leaves when crushed, have the aroma of the ginger used for cooking. Wild ginger is not the source for the ginger used for cooking spice. .
