The Bluets are a small plant with a tiny light blue flower with a yellow
eye. They grow best in well drained soil with a neutral pH. and with full
sun. Leaves are opposite and mostly basal on a two- to six-inch stem. Flowering
occurs in April and May. They can be propagated by seed or by division.
They transplant easily. Individual flowers have different style lengths.
Cross pollination between these flower types is required for fertile seeds.
