Alpine Visitor Center, pretty high at 11,796 Ft. but still not the highest on the road.
A very nice visitor center and museum here. Beautiful view with real snow that you can touch by leaning over a railing. There is also a bare hill that can be climbed that may be a hundred feet higher than the building maybe even 12,000 ft. Check out the PDF map to locate Alpine Vis Ctr.
