Vessel used for this Elderhostel was a 100 ft vintage sailing schooner, named "Adventuress".
The 30 or so signees joined Adventuress at Friday Harbor, Washington.
The city "Friday Harbor" is on San Juan Island in the San Juan Island Group off the Washinton Mainland.
I traveled from Huntsville, AL to Seattle via Delta Airlines. At Seattle Airport (SEATAC), there is a shuttle called "Airporter" that
will take you to the access road to Anacortes, WA. From here bus service serves Anacortes, near the Washington State Ferry Terminal.
